Amazon vs eBay and Etsy

Although I believe that Amazon is by far the best overall online location to sell the types of goods that I sell, there are times when it is easier or more productive to sell my items on sites other than Amazon.

For instance, there are going to be times when you want to sell items with a quick turnaround. Perhaps you have a family vacation coming up, or you want to make a large purchase.

EBay almost guarantees a sale within a week, if you set the starting price low enough to encourage bidding. You can even make your auction shorter to decrease the time it takes to get payment for your items – you can make 3-Day or even 1-Day listings.

EBay also has the following benefits, when compared to selling on Amazon:
